Full-Service Interior Design Rates
Full-service interior design is for you if you are building your home from the ground up, or undertaking gut renovations, additions, or full-home furnishings-only projects. Revelry Interior Design will manage your project from the initial design development phase through to the final installation. We will coordinate the construction or renovation project, working closely with your general contractor and architect. We will design and purchase trade-only and custom furnishings, and receive, inspect, store and install your furnishings for you. These projects typically take at least 9 months to complete, with interior design hours dependent upon your project scope. We will provide you with a detailed estimate and ensure that we stay within your desired budget. We invoice monthly for our hourly design time and ensure that you will never have any surprise invoices from us. Project budgets typically begin at $150,000, including the cost of furniture.
Includes creating design plans and concepts, sourcing + specification, drafting, client meetings and correspondence, presentations, final installations, etc.
Includes product ordering and expediting, construction project coordination, working with vendors, workrooms, and contractors, etc.
Includes travel time from Revelry Interior Design’s Santa Rosa-based office to client meetings, project site, SF Design Center, vendor and workroom locations, etc.

Small Project Interior Design Rates
This service is for you if you need one or a few rooms decorated or designed, including kitchens and bathroom renovations. You need help sourcing retail furnishings and/or materials and finishes, and you are prepared to manage the purchasing process on your own. If builders or subcontractors are involved in your project, you will take the lead and manage them independently, unless requested. These projects typically take 25-60+ hours. We will provide you with an estimate and ensure that we stay within your desired budget.
Our rates for small projects are $200 per hour with a minimum of 25 hours. Below are examples of what you can expect to invest for certain types of projects.
The full design of one room typically takes at least 30 hours to complete, depending on the type and size of the space. Within 30 hours, we can provide:
- 1-2 site meetings to discuss your style and functional needs, how you live in and use your space, determine your desired style outcome, measure and photograph your space, and present samples for fabrics, rugs, paints, wallpaper, etc.
- Develop a Design Plan, project budget and schedule based on your needs, values and style.
- Design and present 3 furniture layout options.
- Source and present 2-3 options each for all furnishings, lighting, rugs, window treatments, paint, wallpaper, etc.
- Create your project’s Design Development Boards with your final Design Plan and links to purchase items.
- Revelry Interior Design is happy to assist with placing and tracking orders, coordinating painters, electricians, etc., and assisting with the final installation of items. These tasks typically add 5-10 hours minimum to the overall project.
The full design of a kitchen typically takes at least 40 hours to complete, depending on the size of the space. Within 40 hours, we can provide:
- 1-2 site meeting to discuss your style and functional needs, how you live in and use your space, determine your desired style outcome, measure and photograph your space, and present samples for tile, countertops, metal and hardware finishes, paints, wallpaper, etc.
- Develop a Design Plan, project budget and schedule based on your needs, values, and style.
- Design and present 3 kitchen layout options, which may include new layouts for cabinetry and/or appliance/plumbing locations, and the design for a new island.
- Source and present all materials and finishes, such as countertops, backsplash, cabinetry finish and paint.
- Suggestions for new appliances.
- Source and present plumbing fixtures, such as sinks and faucets.
- Source and present 3 decorative elements, such as cabinet hardware, lighting, counter stools, rugs, or window shades. We are happy (and would love!) to source more than 3 items, and this is simply an example of what we can achieve within 40 hours.
- Create your project’s Design Development Boards with your final Design Plan.
- Create your project’s FF&E Schedule with all final selections, to share with your contractor.
- Revelry Interior Design is happy to assist with placing and tracking orders, and coordination with your contractor during the constructions phase. These tasks typically add 15-20 hours minimum to the overall project.
The full design of a bathroom typically takes at least 25 hours to complete, depending on the size of the space. Within 25 hours, we can provide:
- 1-2 site meetings to discuss your style and functional needs, how you live in and use your space, determine your desired styles outcome, measure and photograph your space and, and present samples for tile, countertops, metal and hardware finishes, paints, wallpaper, etc.
- Develop a Design Plan, project budget and schedule based on your needs, values and style.
- Design and present 3 bathroom layout options, which may include new plumbing locations and the design for a custom vanity.
- Source and present all materials and finishes, such as vanities, tile, countertops, and paint.
- Source and present all plumbing fixtures such as sinks, faucets, shower and tub fixtures.
- Source and present 3 decorative elements, such as a cabinet hardware, lighting, mirror, towel bars, shelving, or window shades. We are happy (and would love!) to source more than 3 items, and this is simply an example of what we can achieve within 25 hours.
- Create your projects Design Development Boards with your final Design Plan.
- Create your project’s FF&E Schedule with all final selections, to share with your contractor.
- Revelry Interior Design is happy to assist with placing and tracking orders, and coordinating with your contractor during the construction phase. These tasks typically add 10-15 hours minimum to the overall project.
